Can a TV with Atsc Tuner pick up channels in PAL/DVB?
We have a brand new Samsung LNT4053H 40" LCD HDTV which comes with an ATSC tuner. We have to move to India soon and were wondering if the tuner would be able to pick up signals that are broadcasted in PAL or DVB. If not, are there convertors available? Thanks!
An ATSC tuner will not pick-up PAL or DVB. THere are converters available. If you are going to get some kind of atellite or cable srevice, then you may not need any since the set top box will contain the tuning mechanism.
