Why do we need to Have a Portable ECG Monitor at Home?
The heart muscles have an automatic discharge of electricity from the sinoatrial (SA) node, a group of specialized cells located in the right atrium, also known as the heart's natural pacemaker. This is the primary node, or the initiating node, which generates the first electrical impulse. On average, there are 60 to 100 times discharges per minute.
When the SA node sends out electrical impulses, both atria contract, and the electrical current is relayed to the atrioventricular (AV) node, located between the 2 ventricles. The electrical wave is then transmitted from the AV node to the lower chambers of the heart, or ventricles, via the "bundle branches". The ventricles will then, contract and pump blood to the whole body.
The normal delay between the atrium and ventricle contractions is 0.12 to 0.20 seconds. By studying the electrical activity that results when heart muscle cells contract, we gain insight to the health and workings of the heart. These electrical activities can be detected, reordered and studied with an electrocardiograph, for example a conventional ECG Machine or a Portable HandHeld ECG Monitor like SmartONE ECG.
Arrhythmia is an abnormal or irregular hear rhythm resulting from any changes, deviation or malfunction in the normal conduction system of the heart. Early diagnosis of an arrhythmia is very important. This is because the longer an arrhythmia lasts without any detection or treatment, the greater the chances of permanent damage and additional heart dysfunction. This can also lead to complications like Stroke.
The irregular beating of the atrial chambers that is characteristic of atrial fibrillation results in stagnation and pooling of blood in the heart that can lead to blood clot formation, particularly in the left atrium. These blood clots can travel via the circulatory system and lodge in the brain, thereby, cutting-off the blood supply to a region of the brain (stroke). In fact, stroke represents the most common devastating consequence of atrial fibrillation. About 15 percent of strokes occur in people with atrial fibrillation.
Having a portable ECG machine is always good. Getting your ecg test checked at the physician's is not only expensive but also time consuming. If you have these portable ECG machines with you, it helps you to monitor your heart's fitness everyday and can be used as a home ecg monitor just like blood pressure monitor. If you are pursuing healthy heart exercises, getting your heart rate checked regularly along with rhythm management shall be beneficial.

You cannot play cartridges on the handheld. It's a cool little piece of technology if you happen to like those games but if you want a portable Genesis I'd reccomend looking around 2nd hand video game stores and flea markets for a Sega Nomad which was literally a portable Genesis. It was an official release by Sega and is 100% compatible with all Sega Genesis games. It's kind of hard to come by but it will cost you less in the long run and you will be guaranteed to be able to run any game you want. You can also use composite cables to connect the Nomad to a TV and play it like a real Genesis.
Those retrogens and flashbacks are all kind of shifty. They don't always work and some games are glitched when played on them.
Just look for the nomad, you won't regret it.
