How to Pick Up Beautiful Women - Without Dropping a Single Line on Her
When you think about picking up beautiful women, you probably automatically associate the need to learn a million lines that you can run on her. Well, you could do that, OR, you could cut out all of that and instead learn how to attract her without dropping a single one of those pick up lines on her. See, most guys waste TOO much time searching for the perfect line or the right words to say, and at the end of the day, they are no better off.
If you really want to learn how to pick up women, then you have to get out there and start approaching beautiful women and hook their attention. And it can all be done without the safety net of a useless line, anyway.
So, how can you discover how to pick up beautiful women and not even drop a line on her?
1. Focus on how YOU walk. Your body language, it speaks volumes to a woman about who you really are. Most women can tell right off the bat if you are confident, secure, and assertive. And they can also tell if you are nervous, insecure, and a little awkward. The way that you walk demonstrates a lot of this to her. A calm smooth stride to your step shows that you are an easy going and definitely secure guy.
2. Engage her and entrance her with a smile. The last thing that you would want to happen is for her to think you are a creep or a guy that is just out to approach women. Engaging her with a friendly smile will soothe her nerves and make her feel right at home when you approach her. Keep the smile relaxed and normal, not a plastered on, plastic looking one.
3. As her something relevant to the situation. If you are out on the street when you meet her, greet her with a simple observation about how crowded it is, or how the city is so a buzz with people. Just get a simple tidbit in there to get a real conversation going. In a situation like this, if you were to drop a cheesy pickup line, it would be transparent what you are trying to do. Be subtle and let her figure things out AFTER she's already taken a liking to you.
4. Make the conversation about her. Women love to talk about themselves and will open up the more you get to know them. Try to make the conversation about her as much as possible. Don't sell yourself. You already get to do this just by being a guy that seems like he has a genuine interest in her.

How To Combine Single Lines And Chords In Your Soloing
Guitar is a great instrument, let's say it. It allows you to play melodies, chords and also to integrate them in your solos.
But, How do you blend chords and single lines? I have spent lots of time listening and studying Joe Pass, Martin Taylor and pianists like Bill Evans.
One of my major challenges, I suppose, was to find a balance between melody and all those beautiful voicings I was studying. Most books supply all those voicings with no practical examples on how to internalize them into your phrases.
So I started to listen carefully to what great guitarists do in different contexts (e.g., duos, trios, or bigger ensambles) and gradually developed my personal preference for when a chord should appear in my solo.
After exploring several styles and blending all the material, I came to realize that there is no universal rule...but yes, the technique you use will extremely affect your choices. I like playing both fingerstyle and with the pick.
When I play fingerstyle, I always hunt for a balance between basslines, chords and melody. So, in such a context, most of my chord voicings would catch the 5th and the 6th string.
This fills the lower register and, combined with bass melodic movement, gives the impression that lots is happening in the background. When I play with bands that feature a bass player, I try to stay away from the 5th and the 6th string as much as possible, and use voicings built on the 4th, 3rd, 2nd and 1st string. I think that a very useful method to practice chord phrasing is to not just learn chord voicings on their own, but to build chord lines.
Here's what you can do immediately:
1. Create a very short chord phrase using two or three chords
2. Repeat it over and over again and play it in different keys
3. Stay with it a week or so
4. Start incorporating it into your language while you practice standards where the harmony suits them (or where you think they suit to the basic chord changes)
5. Then forget about it. Very soon you'll find yourself using those voicings more and more often until they become second nature.
So here it is. A practical method to merge chords into your solos. I hope this method will give you great results. Try to find your own variations, open your ears and let your musical preferences be the ultimate judge. There is no right or wrong in music, remember that!
