Is it okay to call Acer and ask them for a laptop pouch/case/sleeve?
Okay, I have a laptop on its way but I've seen unboxing videos of it on youtube and read comments on how selected ones have sleeves. It's a thin computer and i wouldn't want to just put it in a handbag and go. Basically, the reason is because I think only the blue has sleeve...some might not have one either and yet, on the box's front flap, there's a space where the sleeve could have been stored in. Why I know this?--> I've had the 8.9" netbook and it has the sleeve and yeah, the space is supposed to fit the sleeve.
Anyway, do you think it's okay for me to ask them for one since I would have proof that most netbooks have no case or sleeve for the computers? and will they let me (send one by mail)?
You can always ask. They might make you buy it though, but the cases/pouches/whatever they come with aren't great. My little bro got an Aspire One a while back, and the little pouch doesn't do much good, best to either ask for the free one or buy a separate sleeve. Or, go indie and sew one yourself. ^_^
