What are head pins?
There is a designer once said: "Every creation is only as good, as the sum of its parts." Jewelry is no different, as jewelry making involves beads, jewelry findings, jewelry wires, jewelry tools. Today we will talk about one of jewelry findings-head pins.
In my jewelry news I had introduced what exactly are jewelry findings, and continue I will tell you all jewelry lovers what are head pins in detail. A headpin is a long, thin piece of wire with a "head", a flattened piece of metal bigger than the diamter of the wire that acts as a stop to beads on the wire. The opposite end of the headpin is flush cut, not sharp as with straight pins used in sewing.
Head pins are used to create dangles (such as earring dangles) or links, with beads or jewelry charms wire wrapped onto the pin. For a dangle, beads will rest against the head. The remainder of the pin will be twisted and wrapped to make a loop which can be strung on stranded beading wire, silk or another jewelry fiber or attached to a clasp with a jump ring or split ring.
To create a link, the head end of the pin must be wire wrapped into a loop; then, after putting the beads and charms in the middle of the pin (above the first loop), a second loop is wire wrapped. These links can be used "in line" - between two sections of jewelry chains or beads.

don't know if you can rewire, but the 3rd terminal is to check the battery status. if you cover the 3rd terminal then the battery meter on the cell phone display won't function properly.

Binding Tip: For a professional look when binding with Wire-O, place your back cover on top of your front cover before inserting the wire element. After inserting and closing the wire, fully rotate the back cover around to the back of the book. This step hides the seam where the two edges of wire meet and gives the book a smooth, clean finish.
Maintenance Tip: Never punch more sheets that what is recommended. Punch only a few clear covers at a time, especially the thicker mils. After punching clear covers, punch a sheet of wax paper to remove any build up from the pins. Squirt WD-40 on some the edge of some sheets of paper and then punch the sheets. This will keep the punching pins lubricated.
