Motorola Brand Batteries
Using the proper parts for your life saving equipment is very important for the operation and longevity of the two way radio. Whether responding to an emergency where seconds count, mobilizing more staff to a scene or relaying important information your 2way radio needs to be operating correctly and its battery is key to that operation.
Unfortunately, hazards can kill some two way radio batteries, but not Motorola Batteries. These batteries are built specifically for Motorola radios and tested in the real world for the durability and reliability. When you are in a situation the last thing you need to worry about is your equipment.
Quality Materials
You know the drill, a dropped radio, static electricity, heat, cold, etc. Motorola builds the finest quality batteries for all models. Be assured that if you use the proper battery you'll get the most out of the life of your radio. All batteries are tested for vibration, shock and impact. Motorola conducts drop tests on the batteries from all different angles. Also static electricity tests are conducted to make sure that the batteries charge properly after multiple static discharges. If the battery doesn't charge right it's rejected. This is just a sampling of the quality control that goes on before you can purchase a Motorola battery.

Two-way Radio’s Contribution to Communication
"Mobile phones make a huge impact on every person’s life. It’s no longer a luxury but a necessity because it comes in handy. Before coming to be though, it was the two-way radio with two way radio headset which the world knew. Two-way radio communication influences a lot of people in many ways. The two-way radio is usually found and used inside official vehicles like cabs, police cars, ambulances, even for motorcycle communication. As to the world’s most famous two-way radio brand, Motorola’s two-way radio comes to mind.
Mobile phones originally served the purpose of a two-way radio, which is also called mobile rigs but technically speaking, a two-way radio is not considered a mobile phone since it is not connected to any telecommunications network. Mobile phones have gradually evolved into transportable gadgets identified as bag phones, for they could be carried and used either as mobile or portable two-way radio. The first mobile telephones were called “first generation telephones” or 1G. The 1G era ran from the late seventies through the eighties. 1G pioneered mobile telephones albeit being called cellular mobile radiophones for they rely on analog signals. Analog signal is the main difference between the first generation mobile telephones and second generation mobile telephones.
The second generation mobile phones were introduced in the market in the early nineties. Unlike the analog 1G phones, 2G phones use digital technology to provide voice services, short message service (SMS) and WAP. The 2G mobile phone is more advantageous than 1G because it uses lower radio signals that require lesser battery power, thus allowing it to perform longer between battery charging. What’s more is that 2G phones can come in a tinier and slimmer package, even its batteries! In line with this, 2G phones offer more privacy and makes eavesdropping less possible unlike with 1G phones. After the success of 2G mobile phones, the 2.5G was introduced but only to marketing bosses. It was called as such because it is described as a post-2G, but not on a certain extent as 3G. As 2G and 2.5G phones were introduced, the two-way radio with headset was still predominantly used by motorists.
Later came the 3G phones, which was first launched by the Japan company, NTT DoCoMo, in May 2001 and was launched commercially in the same country in October 2001. The 3G phones allowed network operators like Vodafone and T-Mobile to offer their consumers a wider range of advanced services. These comprise video calls, broadband internet, and the like. Despite this new technology, the -way radio communication was still much favored by motorists, especially those working in public offices.
Because of today’s fast-paced technology, 4G phones arrived and introduced in the market positively new features like live streaming of television and radio shows.
As technology continues to evolve and with people clamoring for new models of mobile phones every time, expect stuff like Motorola radio’s two- way to constantly update its features to provide the ever-changing demands and needs of the public.
