How much does it cost to make a nice kit car?
Say you have an older (but nice) Fiero laying around, and some money to blow through.. how much would it cost to build a kit car? I know it probably varies depending on how close you want to make the replica and what kind of car you're building towards, but I can't find any info anywhere on the numbers. To do a really nice rendition count on spending 50% - 75% more than you spend on the kit itself. And that does not include your labour. You can cheap out but the end product will show it and you will be disappointed.

The self-build market will think this V-Storm is heaven-sent, because it ticks every box. Eye-catching looks? Check. Spacious enough for passengers? Check, and of course it's charming allure. Getting slightly more technical, the mid-engine arrangement provides "superb handling and balance to the car and delivers excellent traction during acceleration", according to UltimateCarPage.com.
