The console switch becomes almost necessary when it comes to company growth. As a business adds more employees and technical support, expands to different cities and develops a need for remote access and tighter security, it gains a need for newer technology. Upgrading to the console switch can be scary and has prompted some hesitation on the part of some growing companies. They fear it will require costly training for the technical staff to be able to handle troubleshooting and repairs and they fear the investment of time that will be required. Technology makers say, however, that although some cost and time investment are a given, the training is fairly simple for those already versed in technology. Besides, the long term benefits far outweigh the upfront commitment.
Installing a console switch ensures tech staff can resolve any computer or server problem, whether they are on site or working from a remote location. The switch allows them to repair broken computers, resolve software issues and monitor the stability of the company server. Having multisite capabilities is a huge cost-cutting measure, as IT personnel will not have to travel to the source of the problem.
Security is also a great benefit of the console switch. Companies that have employees on different floors of the same building can link all computers to one central console. Since the console can hold information about each computer, it naturally acts as a backup system in case files are corrupted or information somehow gets lost. After the workday is done, off hours back up can begin. Retrieving that backup information, though, has to be done on site. Therefore, remote workers would need to work closely with on-site tech staff to recall the information officially.
Some managers who might need to monitor the productivity of employees have a way to see how much of the day an employee has spent actually performing company-related tasks. This takes out the guesswork or the labor of having to build a case for job improvement (or something more tragic: firing the employee). The console switch also enables employers to block access to a specific network of computers. There is no reason, for example, that anyone outside of human resources would need to access human resources file. Giving that access would violate privacy and equal employment laws and guidelines.
It would seem the console switch need not be a concern for small businesses - many of which do not have multiple locations or a need for a large network. As most business advisors know, though, growth is not always predictable. It should be planned for. So, even the small business whose owner believes there will never be a need for this technology, should be versed in its language and prepared to upgrade when the time comes.

The blinker lights work fine. The only problem is the switch needs to be held to the left or right in order for them to stay on. What can I do to make it so that I just move the switch to the left or right and they will stay blinking?

How You Should Hold Your Golf Club to Improve Your Swing!
It is that time of year again, the time to take out your golf clubs and start swinging them around. The best part about a new season of golf is that you get a fresh start to improve your game.
The first thing you should focus on is the correct way to hold a golf club. However, if you feel uncomfortable holding the club this way, switch up how you hold it. You should be comfortable holding the golf club. Start with your left hand; grip the club about a half inch down from the top of the grip. Then grab the club with your right hand, covering the thumb of your left hand with your pinky, ring and middle fingers. If you are a lefty, switch hands.
Make sure that you do not move your wrists while swinging. To do this, use your left thumb as a guide. When holding the club, it should point straight down the shaft. If you would like to test the method, try swinging; you will notice your wrists tighten as you swing.
If you would like to improve your game even more, invest a few dollars in a golf glove. It will give you more grip, and allow you to test out different positions to grip the club with your left hand. Holding the golf club the right way will improve your game dramatically.
Another tip I will give you is to find the correct size clubs for your height. If you stand the club straight up, it should reach your waist. Always remember to keep your eye on the ball while swinging; if you look up, even for a second, you will be hitting horrible shots all day.
