Trying to get laptop audio only through headphone jacks...?
I have a newish toshiba satellite laptop with windows vista and am trying to get the audio to play ONLY through the headphone jacks but have had no success... It is running windows vista if that helps, but the problem as i see it is that even when I change my output jacks to the default device, when I open up the volume mixer the speaker always rises when I up the volume on anything else.
What you could try is go to the volume button on the laptop and try to find headphone and turn it up or turn dow nthe pc audio and let the headphones play
