Will it make a difference If I use both Hdmi and Optical Digital connection?
Will it make a difference if I plug the Hdmi cable from my PlayStation to my TV then plug in an optical cable from the ps3 to the TV. Will it make any difference in the sound quality? And how much.

I don't think your TV has any optical inputs, it's an optical output. If you want the sound quality or Surround Sound, you need a receiver and speakers ( 5.1 ) .

HDMI Splitter: Split and Distribute HDMI Signals Simultaneously
The HDMI Splitter is a hardware device that allows you to split and distribute a single HDMI video signal to multiple HDMI video display units simultaneously. In other words, from sources such as set-top boxes, DVD players, D-VHS players and other HDTV devices, the HDMI video signals are replicated and distributed to multiple HDMI video display units. HDMI Splitter is available in various sizes ranging from 2, 4 and 8 ports.
