BPM. usually "beats per minute" as in computer MIDI recording.
Compressor To compress a signal so it will not go over a certain threshold. Mostly used in digital recording because of a very bad noise if signal goes over the red indicator.
Vocoder. An electronic devise used to change the frequency and effects of the voice. You can sound like Darth Vader to Mickey Mouse on acid.
Sample. Is used to sample certan amps, guitars, etc.
