How to install a sky magic eye
Sky eyes are very useful and inexpensive but they are also prone to give a lot of problems. The nub of the issue is that the eye works off a 9V power supply given by the sky box and everything needs to be set up just right if the eye is work properly.
Stage 1: Install and test sky eye directly off sky box
Ensure that the sky box is turned on connected to the tv
Connect the sky eye to the back to the ‘RF 2′ outlet on the back of the sky box
Press the 'services' button the sky remote
Select 'system setup'
Press ‘0′, ‘1′ & ‘Select' in quick succession
From the Installer menu select ‘RF Outputs'
Turn the RF output setting to ‘ON' and exit saving settings
Also you can adjust the RF channel on which the sky signal will be broadcast
If you are combining an aerial input into the RF output this is critical
if the RF frequency is already being using by a TV channel it will cause interference
Avoid this by selecting an alternative channel number from 21-69 – (68 is the default)
I generally set 35 as my default but it depends on what your local transmitter is.
Select ‘RF Outputs'
Exit out all the way and check to see does the sky eye now work.
The LED on your Sky eye should now be Lighting
This step has verified that:
Your sky eye is in working order
That your sky box is capable of supplying the necessary 9V signal to power the eye
Stage 2: Install Sky Eye is the 2nd Room
Run a satellite cable (connect an existing cable) into the ‘RF 2′ outlet on the back of the sky box
This cable will need to be terminated with a Coax connector and a Coax joiner
In the attic join the cable coming from the sky box to the cable feeding the addition TV
using low loss F-connectors (qty 2) and an F joiner (qty1)
for multi-room use 2 way or 4 way Link amplifiers or Distribution amplifers
Terminate the other end of the cable in the second room with a Coax connector
Push the coax connector into the Sky Eye
Push the sky into the back of the television
Tune the TV into the correct frequency i.e. Channel 68 (default) which corresponds to 847 MHz
Place the sensor part sky eye facing towards the seat which will be used by viewers
Use sky remote to change channels on the remote sky box.
INSTALLATION COMPLETE !!

Buying a multiroom satellite tv package can be expensive and an ongoing monthly expense. The solution to this is to buy a sky magic eye. This allows you to distribute the digital tv signal to other TVs in your home for free. The drawback is that you must watch the same thing on every tv but if this is not an issue for you then it's the only way to go.

Steps To Install Satellite Dish
To get the satellite dish at good offer and price you might have shopped for it. You may wish to hire someone to install the dish for you or if you are lucky, some retailer dealers offer satellite dish installers free of charge. However not every buyer is accorded this privilege by the retailer. it is more up on the buyer to set up dish. Here are the steps on how to install a Satellite Dish.
for installing the satellite dish you need have a complete satellite system, Compass, Satellite RG6 Coax Cable, 6" Magnetic Level OR Post Level, ?" nut driver bit, 7/16" wrench, staples OR screw clips, drill, zip ties or black tape, 2" lag bolts, and satellite signal meter.
Look for a suitable place around your compound to raise the dish. The site should have clear sky line and be able face the direction as instructed. there should be no interference while searching for the signal. the other important thing while installing the satellite dish is to bolt the mast firmly and it is also important to position the mast plumb in every direction. Make sure that the bolt is tight keeping in mind that it should be plumb.
the next step is to place the antenna dish on the mast but the bolts should not be tightened. next put coax cable through dish and then out to LNBF to connect cable. now both LNBF to satellite dish. the bolts should not be tighten much. now read the manual guidance for installing the satellite dish in order to confirm the correct skew and raise the dish according to locality. if the neighbor too has the satellite dish then you can easily raise the level accordingly.
now if you don't have the meter for checking the signals after fixing the coax cable just turn on the television to confirm the signal.Turn to the dish to the direction as instructed on dish satellite installation manual and check your meter until it show you have locate a satellite signal or by looking at your neighbors dish. If you have found the signal now bolt the dish. you can adjust it horizontally and also vertically. now just have the dish reflector to rotate freely.
Now it is time to determine the strong signal by moving the reflector up and down. Take the coax from the dish to the receiver and then connect. finally by reading the manuals for the installation of satellite dish just connect the receiver to television and do the required test.
