Can you attach a normal cable and a hdmi cable to Xbox 360?
Once I bought the hdmi cable do I need to take away the normal one from the Xbox 360 or just have them both attached?
I don't know how it looks on the slim models, but the older ones, no, Microsoft made it so you can't fit both the normal cable and the hdmi cable at the same time. Only way to do it is to gut and remove the plastic casing on the end of the cable. I'm not sure if it will display video on the normal cable the same time as the HDMI, but that's what I did to hook up analog speakers (red+white plug)

How Can I Watch TV On My Computer PC I Have Comcast And Xbox On My TV
This certainly deserves an explanation so here goes…There are 4 people in my house and only 3 televisions and no 2 people can agree on what to watch so that usually leaves me on the computer. This for the most part is ok however, there are times when I would love to just veg out in front of the TV and give my brain a rest. With two sons 6 years apart and a wife ,who I wouldn't dare try to take the TV away from, I am destined to sit in front of my computer. Now don't get me wrong staying caught up with friends, playing games, or just plodding around through you tube videos can be quite entertaining. But there are those times I would like to watch a show, a game, or maybe a movie and trying to find these things online can be a daunting and lengthy processes.
I won't go through the list of sites I have been to that offer "FREE" programming because it is to say the least very long (I‘ll give you the short list later). I've noticed these sites start out great, because they want to build a following, but then advertising starts sneaking in. We all know advertising is a part of life but these ads always seem to pop up a in the middle of something you're trying to watch and that sucks. Or they are running constantly on the side of what you're watching which is not only distracting but slows things down and the little spinning wheel shows up and stops your program. A lot of these are videos so you can back up and re-watch them but that sometimes turns a 30 minute show into a 45 minute hassle. Plus they decide what you get to watch . For example I love "Family Guy" and I ran across a site that had a channel running a marathon of the show and I watched about 4 hours of it back to back it was great. A couple of days later I wanted to watch it again and it was nowhere to be found I wasn't happy to say the least.
A lot of the free stuff out there is ok and sometimes I really don't mind hunting around and finding something I want to watch. Then there are those times…Let me back up a bit I am from Chicago and now live in Kentucky and as the Bears were headed toward the play offs at the end of the regular season a few of the games weren't shown here, once again sucked! Have you ever tried to keep up with a game on Yahoo sports? They claim play by play but it's more like play by every 3rd play, plus no picture or sound. So I go to one of my "FREE" sites and there was a feed to the game, I was Happy Happy. I zip on over well it's lagging, no 5 second TV audio delay so I heard the play before I saw it, basically real bad. But, still better than the yahoo sports thing. So as I am watching in a little chat box off to the side someone's typing in the feed could be yanked at anytime because of NFL copyright infringement, and of course after 30 minutes it is. That really hurt and with the Bulls in a weak division and playing good ball I fully expect some sort of play off run from them too am I going to get beat with the same crap?
As I finish up more and more of my extra work around home stuff I am looking forward to some actual free time and haven't the space or the money for a 4th television. And with Comcast Cable, Xbox and other systems hooked to the existing televisions it's even harder to get a seat. So I am actually considering the Satellite TV on my computer thing. And I have found a couple I am seriously thinking about. They are both about $50.00, and that is a one time fee not monthly, and both offer way more channels than I could ever need-very cool!!! Another very good thing is they are sold through Click Bank which means a 60 day no questions asked refund policy, it is really no questions asked because I have done it. So risk versus reward is on my side here are the links check them out for your self.
Stream Direct TV
Satellite Direct
The short list is just that, short. Keep in mind I have wandered off to many others this is just 3 I had book marked in my favorites.
ovguide.com-- Has a huge variety of things to select from and seems to be supported by the various sites that advertise and are linked to the site. I clicked the movie Drop Down and up comes a page with things like Netflix, Fear Net and so on, click on one and off to that site you go. The site has changed since the last time I visited, it seems well laid out and very user friendly. There are tons of choices so click over and have a look you'll probably find something you like.
justin.tv-- This is where my problem with the Bear's game occurred and from what I see except for some recorded WWE and MMA sports is still very limited. But I was able to watch an episode of "The Office'' with only one commercial when I went to that channel, not bad. Would there have been more interruptions, don't know. There are several channels with things like "That 70's Show", "Seinfeld", and quite a few others. Movies seemed limited as well but probably worth a look see.
ustream.tv-- Wow I don't remember why I book marked this one it seems very disorganized and very confusing. Today is 2-20-2011 and there is some WWE Pay-Per-View event on TV tonight and people are streaming it on USTREAM? So I am wondering if this is where I had my Bear's game problem. Adam Carolla and Kevin Pollak have shows on here plus there are advertisers which leaves me wondering what's with this site? Check it out for yourself, once again maybe you can find something you like.
