There is nothing like watching a movie on the big screen. Although you can get just about any kind of equipment for the home, because of the big screen people still go to the theater for the special sized screen. The large volume of sound and screen proves sometimes bigger can be better. But with the 50" TV going to the theater for the big detailed picture is more of an option than a necessity. Get the attention to detail you love right in your own home. Invite you friends over proudly to watch your new 50 inch Plasma TV. The mousy little set on the kitchen counter is no place to watch the NFL or the NBA. The 50 inch TVs give you all of the color and the special extras you enjoy; clarity, color, detail.
50 inch Plasma TVs are great for special family movie night. Watching your favorite movie for the 30th time on a 50 inch is more special than can be imagined and getting the detail a big 50 inch Samsung offers is something to look forward to. The new Wii games and the new sensor games practically demand a big television. Not only are young people getting into the larger televisions for this reason but older people of all age ranges are giving themselves a workout by using the 50 inch TV sets. The 50" televisions are affordable and great to watch. Baby boomers are aging and are spending more time in front of the tube. Develop a home theater with a big television for the focus and it is thin enough to hang on the wall, taking up practically no added space; fantastic. These TV sets are great for young and old.

How would you hide these cables from our big screen TV?
I bought a big screen plasma TV for my husband, and he hung it, and the black cables look HORRIBLE! How would you hide them?
Put them behind the wall. Make a hole in the wall behind the TV and another near the floor. Feed the cable behind the wall between the holes. You can probably buy cover plates to make it look professional.
If you are not able to do that there are cable runners that can go over the cable and can be stuck or nailed to the wall. You can paint it.

Big Screen - Outdoor TVs for any Budget
We are now all used to seeing large screen TVs outside the open. Either for advertising or information - outdoor digital signage has penetrated most high streets and city centres.
And big screen TVs are commonly being installed outside entertainment areas such as pubs, restaurants and bars for viewing sporting events outdoors.
But there are a lot of difficulties in attempting to use a TV in an outdoor location such as ensuring it is protected and readable. It can also be expensive with many of the large sized outdoor screens costing tens of thousands of dollars.
However, it neither needs to be difficult or expensive as there are simpler and more cost effective methods of using a large Screen Lcd or plasma outdoors.
Protection
Protection is perhaps the most fundamental challenging aspect of outdoor digital signage or outdoor big screen TV usage. But is can be easy to ensure the device is kept waterproofed and can handle the cold of the winter and heat of the summer.
A weatherproof LCD enclosure will house and standard or commercial LCD or plasma screen or outdoor use. They can go as large as 70" which is ample size for most big-screen outdoor TV needs.
They also offer physical protection against accidental and deliberate damage as they are mainly constructed from solid steel – important to ensure the device is not damaged. The screen face too is often protected with a shatterproof layer to prevent any damage that way.
Screen
Once you have to right protection it is time to decide on the screen to use. As the LCD enclosure will already offer waterproof and outdoor protection there is no need to buy an expensive outdoor or waterproof TV.
This can save a fortune but it is with spending extra on a commercial grade television and preferably one that is high brightness.
Brightness is perhaps the key to ensuring you have decent readability in direct sunlight although compromises can be made using shades, canopies and anti-reflective tints.
