Both speakers sound "shrill/bright"?
I have Denon DRA-685 receiver running a pair of "old school" acoustic research (cambridge, not audiovox) S- 50's.When I listen to music they sound awesome.When I watch tv sometimes, when someone is speaking (listening to human voices) the speakers (both of them) sound kind of bright and shrill/distorted.
I also played a (audio/video setup dvd from circuit city) with a lot of speaking.Same thing.
I played the same (distorted) part on the DVD through each speaker separately.They both sounded the same (shrill/distorted).
Does anybody have an idea?
You may have your treble set too high for your speakers to handle.
